The 4th International Congress on 21st-Century Literacies (ICCL2026), which will take place on 27 and 28 November 2026 at the Portalegre Polytechnic Institute campus, aims to promote and rethink literacy in different fields of knowledge as part of the right to education.

ICCL2026 will provide a forum of interest to the wider scientific community, encouraging reflection on the key skills required to exercise informed, critical and participatory citizenship in a society that is constantly and rapidly changing and evolving.

It is hoped that this meeting will provide an opportunity for new scientific collaborations between national and international researchers.

The event is open to the entire scientific and academic community (whether or not they are presenting an oral talk or poster) and will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and online).

Participants, whether or not they are presenting an oral talk or a poster, must register by completing the registration form.
